We are supplied alive wild land snails from the Western, Central, and Eastern Black Sea regions in Turkey. Firstly, we process them in our factory and depending on customer orders, we export them as intermediate or final products, primarily to France, as well as to European Union and Asian countries.
Wild alive land snails, collected from nature and brought to our facility, undergo a sterile and meticulous processing process. First, we separate the meat with the intestines from the shell. Then, we cut the intestine and separate it from the meat. We boil the meat and calibrate it. Processed land snail meat is first shock-frozen and then preserved within our cold chain. After packaging we ship the frozen meat with refrigerated trucks.
We clean and sterilize the snail shells which is separeted from meat and send them to calibration progress. We calibrate the shells with size. After calibration progress we choose them. We make reparation to shells which are choosed as hole or broken opening.
